TOPOGRAPHY AND TERRAIN
The property is mainly undulating plains that rise up to a mountain highland plateau. Roughly 10% of the property comprises a riverine area situated between two mountain kloofs.
VEGETATION
This game reserve lies in a recognized warm sweetveld corridor south of the Bamboesberg along the Golden Valley towards Tarkastad and the Swart Kei. The properties in this area are a unique mixture of savanna grassveld, sweetveld, interspersed with acacia karoo thornveld. Grasses which occur are rooigras, speargrass, also common thatchgrass and catstail.

The property is situated at an altitude of 1571 meters with it’s highest point being 1927 meters. Rainfall is between 450-500mm per annum and the carrying capacity is 6Ha/L.S.U.
